Tapestry Solutions supports 85 defense, commercial and government customers from over 50 US locations and nine countries, including multiple forward operating bases in Afghanistan.Tapestry Solutions, Boeing Global Services BGS is seeking a Software Engineer Associate on WPS mission planning program in Maryland Heights, MO.In this role you will develop, document and maintain requirements, algorithms, interfaces and designs for the Weapon Planning Software (WPS) Mission Planning product. The individual’s primary responsibility involves developing and maintaining C# software and integrating software components into a fully functional software system. The individual will support software project management, and may develop, select, tailor and deploy software processes, tools and metrics. The individual will follow company software standards and processes.Position Responsibilities:Participate in Agile scrum team responsible for development of the WPS product

Develop and integrate software in C#

Implement new features

Investigate and resolve software problem reports / bugs

Update status of assigned User Stories & Tasks in Azure DevOps on a weekly basis

Participate in Increment and Iteration planning meetings

This position allows some telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform work onsite at the listed location option.This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.An interim U.S. Secret Clearance Pre-Start and final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Experience with C# development and the use of Visual Studio

Experience with .NET Framework

Experience with the Agile software development methodology

Preferred Qualifications ( Desired Skills / Experience ):Experience with the use of NuGet packages

Experience with SAFE Agile

Experience with Azure DevOps (formerly known as Team Foundation Server (TFS))

Typical Education & Experience :Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor’s) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master’s) or equivalent combination of technical education and related work experience).Relocation :Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
