Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join the HR Solutions Management (HRIS) team at Cerner. As a Business Systems Analyst I, you will have a unique opportunity to further evolve our HR systems as we continue to transform human capital management, leveraging automation and process improvement. The Business Systems Analyst I will partner with our strategic centers of expertise to understand and gather system requirements and perform moderate to complex system configuration. The Business Systems Analyst I will also help troubleshoot tier 3 support issues and provide case resolutions, create test plans for new or updated configuration, evaluate and test the impact of vendor-driven changes, engage with HR groups in end-to-end testing solutions, and effectively communicate status updates to stakeholders and senior team members.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
  • At least 5 years total combined higher education and related work experience, including:
    • At least 1 year of implementation, management and/or maintenance of enterprise business systems work experience
    • At least 4 years of higher education and/or additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job, including:
      • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Systems or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience

Preferred Qualifications
  • At least 1 year of Workday configuration experience

Expectations
  • Must be located in or willing to relocate to the Kansas City area
  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
  • Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned
