TITLE: .NET SUPPORT DEVELOPER
Location: Remote A global professional services organization is looking for a .NET Support Developer to join the internal team. The .NET Support Developer will be part of a core support group that focuses on the proprietary applications for the organization. This team spans across several time-zones and cities, leveraging Agile development, .NET and SQL Server technologies to bring a cutting-edge experience to their clients. The .NET Support Developer is expected to help debug code and identify problems in the code. Each member of the team is expected to be self-motivated with established interests and experience in .NET and JavaScript development. This role works within a team of software engineers responsible for supporting and maintaining next-generation customer facing applications in support of eDiscovery business processes. You will eventually help this team create and develop tools to allow the support group do their jobs even better. Excellent communication skills are required. Responsibilities- Taking ownership of customer issues reported and seeing problems through to resolution
- Researching, diagnosing, troubleshooting and identifying solutions to resolve software application issues
- Following standard procedures for proper escalation of unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams
- Collaborate with other team members to maintain and improve the components of the company's software products.
- Understand the architecture, design and implementation of the company Products and making necessary changes to fix any feature or performance issues that may be reported.
- Responsible for all phases of the project lifecycle and include: requirements gathering, solution design, application development, and system testing.
- Contribute ideas toward the enhancement and/or modification of designs to improve the product.
- Code automated unit tests for all the changes implemented.
- Design and implement scalable and high-performance products. Produce high-quality software.
- 1-5 years of application development experience in C#, ASP.Net and SQL Server.
- A strong background in programming
- Must be proficient in the following languages and technologies: .NET, C#, ASP.Net, MVC, JavaScript, jQuery, SQL
- Experience with JIRA
- API knowledge
- Familiarity with design patterns
- Work experience in Agile development methodology
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Detail-orientated, "get it done" attitude and proactivity
- Willingness to have fun and work as part of an international and diverse team
- Demonstrated ability to write SQL queries and use of Microsoft SQL Server database tables and connectivity is a plus.
- Experience with Elasticsearch or dtSearch is a plus
- Experience with analytical tools is a plus
