We are growing our Global Order Ops Management team with an excellent opportunity available for a Commercial Central Supervisor - Purchasing full time remote with preferred locations MO, IL, TN, and TX. What will you be doing? The Supervisor position resides within the Global Order Operations team and interacts directly with Inside Sales, WWT Account Managers, Order Management, Program Managers, authorized suppliers and end-user customers when necessary. The Supervisor should have a strong understanding of the impact of Purchasing Operations to the end to end supply chain. They are a leader on their team for training, escalation of issue resolution, recruitment and for personnel issue resolution. They will have responsibility for building ROI justifications for process improvement requests. This role is expected to develop and maintain strong business relationships with both internal and external customers. This involves working closely with suppliers to develop business relationships that help facilitate a more streamlined approach to sourcing while ensuring high levels of service are maintained. Detailed and timely communication is critical to the success of this role as well as the consistent execution of the responsibilities listed below. RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Direct Reporting Responsibility
    • Complete and Conduct Midyear and Annual Employee Assessments for Direct Reports
    • Responsible for Compensation Plan Generation
    • Responsible for managing 1:1 Meetings with your direct reports
    • Responsible for conducting Team meetings on a consistent basis
    • Participation in Management & Leadership offsite meetings annually or as required
    • Does not avoid difficult conversations but addresses challenging direct reports in a timely manner through effective coaching
    • Effectively and efficiently organizes resources to get things done
    • Provides clear and productive direction to their team via thorough planning and effective communication
    • Treats direct reports fairly, with positive intentions, and does not play favorites
    • Emphasizes the continued development of direct reports, challenging and enabling them to grow professionally
    • Ability to effectively leverage supplier reporting/scorecards, conduct strategic level performance reviews with suppliers, shepherd stakeholders through delivery of action plans, and drive supplier innovation that creates
    • Basic understanding of requirements, process and documents needed to export material from the US

Attention to Detail Reviews the work of others to ensure accuracy and thoroughness objectives have been met; provide coaching on ways to improve work outputs. Troubleshooting Conducts a deep review of data and issues to quickly reveal the root cause of problem. Recommends interim and long-term solutions to complex problems to ensure successful resolution. Executes solutions to complex problems; guides the analysis of a problem all the way to a successful resolution Resource Planning & Optimization Evaluates current team projects or goals and identifies the relevant skills and expertise needed to accomplish them. Plans for and distributes necessary financial/material resources to ensure accomplishment of team goals. Tracks resource use to ensure minimal waste and reduce duplication of efforts. Business Insight Utilizes knowledge of the organization's business model and operations to drive projects and analyses that support the organization's mission. Applies advanced understanding of the policies, practices, trends and information that impact the organization and its customers to anticipate and plan for each step of a complex project. Demonstrates understanding of the financial impact of decisions/solutions to drive projects and analyses that support the organization's mission. Data Analysis Devises new methods and procedures for collecting data; performs complex data analyses and presents findings on the underlying principles, reasons or facts. Business Partnership & Consulting Establishes working relationships with stakeholders and builds rapport to become a trusted advisor. Identifies strategic issues and raises questions to help customers explore and understand their wider business challenges. Utilizes thorough understanding of current business processes and challenges to recommend and match solutions to meet unique business needs and achieve objectives. International Importing & Exporting Keeps apprised of all changes in regulations relative to international importation and exportation (e.g., customs requirements, trade tariffs and duties, security regulations) and understands the impact on the organization. Materials Management Demonstrates detailed knowledge of the processes for ordering, shipping and warehousing materials; ensures a consistent flow for production and looks for opportunities to improve the movement of materials. QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of Information Technology procurement experience preferre
  • Oracle ERP experience, preferred
  • Customer Service skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills required
  • Experience with Microsoft products (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
