We are hiring a seasoned
Senior UX / UI (User Experience / User Interface) Designer to support our client's UX/UI Team for a contract to hire opportunity. In this role you will design and will partner with business unit product owners, developers, testers, and compliance specialists to translate requirements into UX and UI. We are looking for someone to Provide UX guidelines and user insights to help define requirements With the goal of creating engaging user experiences across multiple digital touchpoints including responsive web apps and native mobile apps in mind, the ideal candidate must be able to apply user-centered design, usability, and human factors research techniques to the design of exceptional solutions that bring joy to our users. The ideal candidate will have a firm pulse on the latest technology and design trends, and the ability to collaborate with customers, clients and team members. The UX team will define, estimate, create, and deliver the entire visual layer and ensure it conforms to best practices. Candidates must have working experience with user-centered design practices such as, contextual inquiry, persona development, journey mapping, wire-framing, high-fidelity UI design, prototyping, and usability testing/evaluation. UX designers are embedded with the SCRUM teams and are responsible for overseeing product design throughout the entire development process and must champion user-centered design through implementation. Candidates should have 5 - 7 years' experience with the following knowledge, skills, and attributes to be successful: Education requirement, BS or above.- Employing a range of human-centered, accessible design techniques, such as conceptual models, personas, user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes, to determine and convey design decisions.
- Proven knowledge and experience with a wide variety of qualitative and quantitative user research activities and applying test data to UX
- 5-7 years experience working as UX/Product Designer within SaaS platform
- Experience with creating prototypes using Sketch and InVision
- Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud
- Experience with user testing sources like Userlytics and UserTesting
- Understanding of inclusive and accessible design principles
- Experience in responsive design Mobile optimized design and native apps as well.
- Knowledge of usability patterns, standards, and information architecture theories.
- Ability to dig in and understand complex models, business processes, and technologies
- Ability to persevere when complexity presents itself in a matrix organization
- Strong oral and written communications skills - conduct design reviews, keep company updated
- Must be able to work within a team context and independently with minimal direction when required
- Act as a primary brand champion and ensure brand standards are upheld
- Must be able to manage multiple active UX projects
- Must be able to mentor and coach team members
- Must be willing to travel occasionally for user research activities
- Working knowledge of HTML/CSS
- JavaScript knowledge is a plus
- Experience with inclusive and accessible design principles and guidelines ADA Compliance is a plus
