Accounts Receivable Specialist

Job Description

ITW Labels is seeking a driven individual with 5+ years of AR/AP experience and the strong desire to succeed. This individual will manage the daily Accounts Receivable operations and support Accounts Payables function and accounting department needs.

• Prepares Daily invoicing of shipments to customers.
• Applies daily cash receipts to customer accounts.
• Performs new customer setup process including tax exemption validation.
• Researches Customer AR Balances and ensures customer payments were accurately allocated.
• Collaborates with ERP (Microsoft NAV) support provider (ArcherPoint) to address any system related invoice remittance issues.
• Coordinates collections with Customer Service and Sales.
• Processes Customer Credit Memos and provides reporting to Management.
• Responsible for on-going Accounts Receivable reporting including leading AR status meetings and coordination of follow up actions.
• Identify, recommend and implement process improvements in the Accounts Receivable process.
• Assists in other areas as directed by the Business Unit Controller.

Qualifications

• Cumulative 5+ Years AR/AP and Collection experience.
• High Quality Customer Service to both internal and external customers.
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
• Good time management and prioritization skills.
• High personal standard of work quality and integrity.

• Intermediate excel analysis skills expected to mature through development opportunities presented on-the-job and/or external training options (i.e. Pivot Tables and standard formulas)
• Working knowledge of ERP systems
• Ability to work effectively on complex, non-routine accounting activities
• Identifies and recommends improvements to the Accounts Receivable processes

• Associates Degree in Accounting or business
• Microsoft Dynamics NAV experience
• Experience working with a manufacturing environment
