job summary:

Randstad is seeking a Senior-level

Agile Software Product Owner to join a client's Cruise Missile Systems Operational Flight Software team located in St. Charles, MO.

This position is 100% remote.

The Product Owner will work directly with external customers and the multi-discipline team to ensure that Cruise Missile software products satisfy customer requirements and are delivered on cost and schedule targets.

responsibilities:

Develop and prioritize the software product backlog
Lead agile sprint planning activities
Establish and maintaining software product roadmaps
Serve as client's spokesperson for software efforts at customer meetings and design reviews
Perform project management activities including coordinating the effort of several of client's IPTs to achieve desired schedule and technical performance
Opportunity to work directly with United States Air Force and Navy customers.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):

Bachelor's degree and 9 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 7 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
5 or more years of experience in Agile software development methodologies.
5 or more years of experience working in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Experience as a Software Product Owner
Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM)
Experience with JIRA

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years; related work experience or an equivalent

combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4, Master+7 years; related work experience).

In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
