Project Scope: Our client has an immediate need for an IT Support Engineer with the following skills and experience: Responsibilities:- Provide primary phone support and desktop support to all end users.
- Troubleshoot and repair computer hardware, operating systems, and software.
- Administer access, permissions and privileges for on-site resources and cloud services.
- Document and track all user support requests, calls, and emails.
- Install new, approved hardware and software for users as well as handle equipment refreshes.
- Setup and assign new VOIP phones for users and within the web console.
- Educate users on the proper usage of company hardware and applications.
- Assist users in the configuration of their mobile devices to obtain access to company applications.
- Maintain and update inventory and utilization records of software and hardware resources.
- Purchase and ship hardware from approved vendors.
- Create new user accounts within Active Directory, SharePoint, Office 365, Exchange, and other company applications.
- Maintain Group Policies at the desktop and user level.
- Create and update documentation related to change management and processes.
- Enforce corporate security standards at the desktop and user level.
- Basic administration of web applications. i.e., User administration of SharePoint.
- Minimum 5+ years Desktop support
- Minimum 2+ years Server/Network support
- Strong organization, people, and communication skills.
- Strong multi-tasking and time management skills.
- Must be able to physically sit, stand, bend, and lift up to 40 lbs. as necessary for equipment installations
