Position Overview Java Technical Lead with Google Cloud Platform Requirements: Responsibilities:
- As a Java Cloud Technical Lead, you will
- Maintain active relationships with the Architects, Product Owner, SME's, COE/Guild teams Delivery Leads and Managers, Onsite Technical Lead to understand business requirements, lead requirement gathering meetings and review designs with the product owner, Architects, Offshore team, and other stake holders.
- work as a catalyst on high priority initiatives, developing new products, supporting technology operations while maintaining exemplary standards.
- Lead a team of other developers, SRE's in the team review others work product, provide recommendation to others help in designing the solution meeting industry standards responsible for prototyping, developing, and troubleshooting software in the user interface or service layers
- Perform technical design reviews and code reviews
- Mentor, Lead and Guide the team on technical skills
- Work closely with the offshore team and other onsite team and support groups
- Be Responsible for prototyping, developing, and troubleshooting software in the user interface or service layers
- Perform peer reviews on source code to ensure reuse, scalability and the use of best practices
- Design, develop and deploy the application code
- Participate in collaborative technical discussions that focus on software user experience, design, architecture, and development
- Perform demonstrations for client stakeholders on project features and sub features, which utilizes the latest Front end and Backend development technologies
- Be flexible and available to support and coordinate with the offshore team
- 10+ years of experience in Java development
- Skills in developing applications using multi-tier architecture
- Knowledge in Liferay and cloud services like Google Cloud / AWS Cloud Hands-on working experience in Java, Spring, Spring boot , REST web services, NoSQL databases - preferably PostgreSQL , Node js , Angular , SONAR, Agile, Jenkins, AJAX,etc
- Prior experience working in the onsite-offshore model is a MUST
- Prior working experience working in Secure applications using SecureAuth
- Solid understanding in CI/CD, build and deployment process
- Familiar with Terraform scripts
- Skills in Unit testing application using Junit or similar technologies
- Good communication and leadership skills
- Provide overlap coverage with onsite/customer teams.
- Skills in UML, application designing/architecture, Design Patternsetc
- Capability to support QA teams with test plans, root cause analysis and defect fixing
- Strong experience in Responsive design, cross browser web applications
- Strong knowledge in creating and working with REST APIs
- Strong exposure in Agile, Scaled Agile based development models
- Familiar with tools/utilities such as GitHub / Jira / Confluence
