This role will be part of the Operational Risk Foundational Programs (ORFP) group. Specifically, the selected candidate will support the Operational Risk Events (ORE) team. ORE is responsible for designing and implementing programs for the strategic build-out and enhancement of existing and future capabilities being deployed across the enterprise to normalize and standardize processes and controls in line with industry standards. Lead and partner with delivery teams within ORFP to establish priorities and drives accountability for assigned initiatives, providing leadership to ensure successful outcomes

Investigate issues that arise with business processes, procedures and operations across the operational risk event database

Review end-to-end ORE processes to identify streamlining and control enhancement opportunities, including development of communication and planning materials to ensure consistency in operationalizing identified enhancements across key stakeholders

Administrate key assigned initiatives and deliverables within ORE supporting the data governance book of work

Identify data defects / limitations and collaborate with key stakeholders to quantify downstream impacts, identify root causes and develop corrective actions

Support reporting/information in presentations to senior management

Display strong and effective communication at all levels of the organization, self-discipline and motivation, creativity, and a willingness to think outside of the box.

Assist with other ORFP related enhancements, initiatives, and remediation projects, as necessary

Required Qualifications, US:

5+ years of Operational Risk experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

Knowledge and understanding of operational risk management in the financial services industry

Management reporting experience

Process design or improvement experience

Data management experience

Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook) experience

Ability to analyze information with a high attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to interact with all levels of an organization

Ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear manner

Job Expectations:

Ability to work at one of the approved locations in the job posting on a hybrid schedule

Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
