Title: Tableau Developer Location: St Louis, would need to work onsite 2 weeks, remote 6 weeks (rotation) Duration: 9+ months
Top 3 requirements: Tableau expert to step in and elevate the team on the data visualization piece Develop Tableau Visualizations, SQL Queries, SSIS and Data Transfer jobs. Attention to detail regarding UI Elements and Presentation. General database knowledge and data storage and manipulation techniques. Test, Troubleshoot, and Improve technical performance. Communication of the 'Data Story' with Executive Stakeholders and User Community. Day to day responsibilities/project specifics: They currently have the architecture laid out but would like some extra muscle with the data visualization / Tableau side. They recently updated their Tableau software to version 2020.3.4 and it's all web based (no desktop). The Tableau consultant will contribute to the journey and be given the latitude to provide solutions (as opposed to heads down coding). The data comes from 3 sources: time keeping system known as Clarity, ticketing system known as Cherwell, and Micro Focus is their ALM / Testing Engine Data is staged in SQL Server. The IT Process/Tools/Metrics team is looking for a Tableau Developer/Analyst to join our efforts. This individual will be responsible for and support designing, implementing, and maintaining Tableau Visualization and Data Reporting for Business Analysis, Quality Assurance, Release Management, and Test Automation Performance Metrics. The resultant products are presented to Executive Stakeholders to drive decisions and improve overall operational performance. The ideal candidate will have both technical and strong personal communication skills, as this role will also include walkthrough explanation and data translation to non-technical Executive Leadership and Stakeholders. Specific duties and knowledge include: Develop Tableau Visualizations, SQL Queries, SSIS and Data Transfer jobs. Attention to detail regarding UI Elements and Presentation.
