RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client in search of a talented Associate Software Developer in San Antonio, TX. This position will offer partial remote capabilities.

Summary:The Associate Software Developer is responsible for providing minimum software development life cycle duties which include programming, testing, documenting, and providing support.

Responsibilities: Associate Software Developer will define changes needed within existing software programs Document changes to revised or new software programs Assist with documentation for various work tasks Maintain status of project responsibilities As an Associate Software Developer, you will create new software programs/applications Maintain and revises existing programs/applications Support software development team by evaluating raw data and reporting results Adhere to established development procedures and guidelines Associate Software Developers participate in formal reviews of business requirements and software application designs Assist in defining work request objectives by analyzing requirements Unit test all software changes, including programs modified or developed by other developers

REQUIREMENTS: Associates degree, preferably in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math Directly related experience may substitute for education Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service; This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services and evaluation of customer satisfaction Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service Knowledge of relational databases, (i.e., Oracle and SQL Server) SQL, HTML, .NET, Java, SharePoint, and other development software tools Skilled in time management Skilled in handling multiple tasks, prioritizing and changing priorities Experience with identifying, analyzing, and resolving problems Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing Ability to listen to and understand information verbally and in writing Ability to solve non-complex software development problems Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing Ability to anticipate, identify, analyze, and resolve conflict and problems
