What will you be doing? As a Systems Architect, you will provide system and solution-level architectural expertise to manager and technical staff on this government program. You will design architectures to include the software, hardware, and communications to support the total requirements as well as provide for present and future cross-functional requirement and interfaces. You will architect, design, and develop integrated information solutions/systems and controls project requirements, scope, risk, and change management issues. Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for Data modeling, data mining and defining data elements.
  • Develop strategies for data acquisitions, archive recovery, and implementation of a database.
  • Working within the DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF) and responsible for DIV (Data and Information Viewpoint) building.
  • Team member designing data warehousing blueprints, evaluating hardware and software platforms, and integrating systems.
  • Review and develop object and data models and the metadata repository to structure the data for better management and quicker access.
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of applicable experience.
  • Secret Clearance or willingness to go through clearance process.
  • Experience with erwin Data Modeler.
  • Knowledge of Sparx EA(Enterprise Architect) is a plus.
  • Experience with DAMA Management Framework (DAMA Wheel).
  • Experience with creating Technical Documentation and Management.
  • Experience with planning and implementing data quality management techniques and then resolving data quality problems with databases, systems, or services.
  • Experience with defining, planning, and developing data security standards for proper authentication, authorization, access and auditing of data and information assets.
  • Experience with life cycle management of data and information using an Enterprise Document and Content Management (EDCM) standard.
  • Experience with planning, implementation, and control of activities to enable access to high quality metadata. (Metadata lifecycle)
  • Experience with selecting and converging data for structured data and data set solutions.
  • Experience with developing user solutions for visualization and end-user use of data.
  • Experience with maintaining Logical Data Models.
  • Experience with developing implementation schedules, operating concepts, data requirements, and test plans.
  • Experience with JDDE (Joint Deployment and Distribution Enterprise).
  • Security + certification.
Requirements:
  • 1-3 years of applicable experience.
