Farmington CDS recipient is seeking caring Personal Care Aide for Monday and Wednesday evenings to assist in home by providing quality care (cooking, cleaning, chores, etc.), providing essential personal care, assisting with errands and shopping and assisting with nutritious meal planning and preparation. Total of 10-12 hours week.
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age(preferably over 30). Must live within a 10 mile radius of Farmington MO. Must be able to read, write and follow directions. Must have at least 6 months of paid work experience as an agency homemaker, nurse aide or household worker or 1 year experience, paid or unpaid, caring for children, sick or aged individuals or received formal training, such as the basic nursing arts course, nursing assistant training or home health aide training. Must be able to lift, push, pull or carry up to 75 pounds (in event of having to partially bear the weight of a client). Must be able to twist, bend, kneel, stoop and climb stairs without difficulty.
