The Space and Launch Team work with proprietary customers in the development of the next-generation technologies in space. Our group works all facets of spacecraft operations from spacecraft control, spacecraft system engineering, mission planning, vehicle engineering.Position Overview:The Experienced Activity-Based Intelligence Engineer will be a part of a high-performing team that are immersed in high intensity projects. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to join an operations team that operates, tests, and integrates new systems in support of activity-based intelligence (ABI) activities. This position will work directly with customers and engage with diverse system end users and mission partners. This role will apply an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop and verify a lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions. As the ABI Engineer, you will evaluate customer operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces.Position Responsibilities:Lead a small multidisciplinary operations team to support enterprise ABI operations as subject-matter experts on various enterprise system elements and tools. Inform customer leadership of overall utility, performance, and effectiveness of ABI operations and system tools. This position required regular interface with customer leadership, contract program management, system development teams as well as with system end-users and mission partners.

Participate as a member of communities of interest in order to better understand user needs and operational mission requirements. Support the user in the development of automated strategies to meet mission requirements.

Apply analytical methods to structured big date from multiple sources to discover objects, relationships, and behaviors.

Perform big data triage by monitoring large volume data streams for anomalous changes.

Understand the behaviors of multiple data modeling and processing systems and their interactions.

Identify expected, desired, and anomalous system activity and impact to operations.

Work with system developers to identify, troubleshoot, and prioritize system discrepancies and enhancements.

Work Authorization:This position requires an active/current Top Secret/SCI U.S. Security Clearance with CI Polygraph. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.).Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.

Experience using excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate with leaders and colleagues in an operation environment.

1 year or more of experience working with Python programming and scripting

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Experience using big data analytic tools, such as Splunk, Kibana, or Grafana, to generate metrics reports and dashboards.

Experience with AI/ML methodologies and tools.

Experience with ISR TCPED processes for open source, GEOINT, and/or SIGINT.

Knowledge of geospatial standards and frameworks, such as GIS, OGC.

Knowledge of with web-based standards and methods (SOAP, REST, JSON, XML, HTTP)

Typical Education/Experience :Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience, 9 years' related work experience, etc.).
