Ironworker? Welder?The 1,200 men and women of Kansas City Local 10 are virtually fully employed, and looking forward to several years of continued good fortune.
Major projects currently underway or planned for the near future include a new Kansas City Airport (a 5-year project), four new high-rise buildings and a future hotel on Cerner Innovations sprawling $4.5 billion campus, a big hotel/convention project and a major prison expansion. We also work periodically on 5 power houses and a nuclear plant.
Our total page hourly rate is good, and we're protected by employer-paid health & welfare and defined benefit pension plans. Our region covers the eastern third of Kansas and the western half of Missouri.
