We are looking for a Cloud Delivery Project Manager to join our Cloud Architecture and Engineering Team! Why should you join the Cloud Architecture and Engineering team? The Cloud Architecture & Engineering team is a fast paced-high energy organization. We focus on the cutting edge services and technologies used in cloud operating models. Our main focus is AWS, Microsoft and Google with additional focus around application architecture, hybrid cloud platforms and infrastructure as code technologies. The team is focused on working in teams to solve complex challenges and help customers bring to life their transformation initiative through the use of Public/Private/Hybrid cloud platforms, application architecture and data. We often work cross functionally with other technology practices within WWT such as Application Services, Global Engineering, Consulting Services, and Infrastructure Services. Requirements/Job Duties- Projects will range from long-term support to multiple, concurrent quick turnaround engagements
- Must be familiar with project scope and project objectives, as well as the role and function of each team member, to effectively assist in coordinating the activities of the team
- Ensure timely and effective delivery of the solutions within scope and relative to desired objectives Financial management of project budgets to ensure all budgets, forecasts and costs are measured, tracked and reported for project success.
- Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques, identify and quantify variances and perform corrective actions with transparency to all stakeholders
- Document measurement criteria for success with the help of Project Mangers or other Leads
- Assist in managing changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs
- Ensures that all issues are captured and resolved and that resolutions are documented and communicated
- Develop a rich understanding and working knowledge of WWT Cloud Services subject matter
- Assisting in the operational functions of WWT's Cloud Practice, filling gaps as identified and necessary Create weekly and monthly status reports
- Organizing meetings (including logistics, developing and giving presentations)
- Participating in meetings, both internal to WWT and external, on behalf of the Cloud Practice Participating in strategic development activities for the Cloud Practice
- Performing analysis of documents or data in support of the Cloud Practice for decision-making Maintenance of SharePoint sites, other collaboration sites and administration of curation of other IT systems related to the business of WWT's Cloud Practice.
- This role will be partially billable to the client as it is customer-facing.
- 1-2 years of Project Coordination/Project Management experience required
- Exposure to technology projects and project management.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, IT, or related field or equivalent experience
- Advanced Skills in MS Office applications including Excel, Work, and Outlook
- MS Project experience is a plus.
- Excellent understanding of financial processes; ability to understand, analyze and create financial reports
- Basic knowledge and understanding of project management industry standard framework and the development life cycle.
- Ability to work independently and aggressively track project timelines
- Excellent documentation skills and attention to detail
- Ability to communicate well with customers and co-workers
- Experience in effectively influencing and leading personnel and the ability to write business reports in a well-organized manner
