Immediate, full-time opening. Foreman Fabricators (St. Louis, MO) is a 60+ year-old award-winning metal fabrication company and we are looking for an individual to oversee small projects and groom themselves for a project management position.

The project coordinator at our company is an entry level position that gives one the opportunity to learn the industry and our systems. We are a group working in close quarters so a cultural fit is crucial. We are looking for a person that will use the systems in place but recognize that the path isn't the same on every venture. About Us:

Foreman Fabricators has been around since 1959. We are a custom metal fabrication and contract manufacturer who specializes in decorative, architectural and ornamental products. We know that being on time and accurate is critical to our customers' success and make it a high priority. Because of this we have dedicated customers who know we are trying to make their jobs easier. We will work hard to balance workloads to get parts ready when they're needed, even in a rush. We need people ready to roll with the flow and join in when the workload starts to swell.

Key Responsibilities:

Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

-Answer incoming calls and emails to guide the customer experience

-Review and interpret architectural drawings and specifications.

-Make drawings of projects in order to communicate to customers how their product will be built.

-Make drawings for fabricating craftsmen to use in production.

-Attend internal project start up meetings to understand and help solve anticipated challenges.

-Measure or assist in measuring job site conditions.

-Assist project managers in their tasks to keep projects on time.

Personal Attributes and Skills Needed to be Successful:

-Punctual self-starter who can work alone or in a team as needed

-Willingness to communicate with customers via email, phone and in person

-Must be accurate and thorough. All details must be addressed.

-Be willing to help wherever needed.

Requirements:

-Autodesk AutoCAD. Ability to use Revit or Inventor is an advantage.

-Well developed computer skills. Microsoft Office's Outlook, Excel, Word, OneNote. Use of internet. Learn to use our ERP software (E2 Shop, a.k.a. JobBOSS2), PDF software for blueprint reading (Bluebeam), programs for shop's CNC equipment (will train).

-Write clearly and with proper spelling and grammar.

-Post secondary degree considered an asset but not a requirement

Schedule:

-8a - 4:30p Monday through Friday

-At our office in the area of Kingshighway and I-44.

-Occasionally early or late, and weekends as project deadlines dictate

Compensation:

-Anticipate $30k starting annual salary depending on attributes and experience. Paid weekly by direct deposit.
