This is a hands-on administrative role, which is expected to contribute to the strategic planning and technical day-to-day ‎activities of the ERP team. Scope includes administration of databases running in WWT datacenters, as well as the EBS application on premise, and Cloud Fusion instances located in Oracle’s SaaS Cloud platform. In this role, you will grow your skill set by having responsibility to manage support tasks that will increase in scope and complexity over time. In parallel, you will work to identify opportunities to reduce support toil through automation or other forms of process improvement, and work to ensure we build and maintain thorough support documentation. The candidate will strive to achieve subject matter expertise, and provide input on technical direction for ERP products. As a member of the ERP team, you will:
  • Bring Linux OS skill expertise with you to the team. Make it a point of emphasis to bring up the collective OS administrative skillset of the team, leveraging latest OS automation tools.
  • Maintain and improve end-to-end monitoring of the platforms for both performance and availability
  • Maintain technical documentation that supports the various systems
  • Troubleshoot complex functional and technical incidents occurring within the various applications
  • Provide on-call support per the published schedule, with the expectation of after-hours support for unplanned service disruptions as well as planned maintenance windows
  • Maintain technical relevance on Oracle EBS over product release lifecycles
  • Participate in cloning and refreshing ERP/EBS environments.
  • Automate and document processes within the database through PL/SQL, SQL, and cron/shell jobs
  • Work with project teams as required to support technical solutions addressing project requirements
  • Manage and balance conflicting internal customer needs on the ERP systems
  • Work proficiently both individually and collaboratively within the team and externally with other teams
  • Be able to objectively look at problems and create innovative solutions on your own through automation and outside the box thinking
  • Have to demonstrate the aptitude and passion to take on and learn new technologies the team may utilize

Preferred Qualifications:

Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Math, Statistics or Engineering
  • 2-3 years of Oracle E-Business Suite experience
  • 12c RAC or above core database experience
  • Familiarity with Agile principals and methodology
  • MongoDB / SQL Server / MySQL / Puppet experience
  • Experience with ticketing system such as Service Now or like system
