Ascension is seeking a remote Specialist, Salesforce Marketing Cloud Technical Producer to join the team. What You Will Do: As a part of the Marketing and Communications team, the Salesforce Marketing Cloud Technical Producer will be responsible for working in a multi-channel, cross cloud Salesforce environment and needs to have experience in data architecture, integrations, and hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud. Primary responsibilities include discovery, data, scripting, and/or integrations in close collaboration with IT teams. They will act as a technical expert on the Salesforce Marketing Cloud, using their knowledge to design, document, and implement solutions. The ideal candidate will have previous Salesforce experience, is driven by results, has a strong attention to detail, and enjoys collaborating for optimal campaign performance. Responsibilities:- Collaborate in designing, developing, testing, documenting, and deploying high quality business solutions on the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform based on business needs
- Support Salesforce Marketing Cloud data management, scripting languages, API, and app platform
- Consult with internal stakeholders on technical and business challenges related to marketing efforts, leveraging Salesforce Marketing Cloud as the solution
- Lead requirements verification, ensuring that requirements are well defined and can be individually verified during testing
- Drive effective requirement gathering practices
- Own communication and clarity between business goals, requirements and the solution pros/ cons and limitations
- Lead documentation and communication of risks, gaps, dependencies and issues
- Serve as a technical liaison to IT teams to support custom and/or atypical initiatives
- Continually assess and communicate risks, progress, and ongoing needs
- High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Bachelor's degree required.
- 3 years of experience preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, IT, Web Development, Marketing Technology, or related field or equivalent experience
- Experience with SQL, HTML for web and email, XML, CSS and AMPscript
- Experience building reports and data extracts
- Experience in learning, translating, deriving business needs
- Experience in creating requirements for project scope
- Experience creating engaging customer Journeys leveraging Enterprise Marketing Automations Software, preferably Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including Mobile Studio, Email Studio, Advertising Studio, Web Studio and Interaction Studio
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud certifications preferred
- Possess a strong command of the Salesforce Marketing Cloud and all channel applications within the platform
- Experience defining business requirements, writing user stories, and providing system and functional designs
- Experience in documenting current state business processes and wire framing system designs using process flow diagram tools, sequence diagrams, etc., as well as making recommendations for future state improved processes and system designs
- Skills required in documenting detailed requirements, process flows and data flows
- Great communication skills in effectively communicating with both technical and business roles
- Identifies project issues/risks and presents alternatives to alleviate or resolve issue/risk
- Validates solution components and provides solution walkthrough
- Fast learner with the ability to pick up on systems, capabilities and goals in a short timeframe
- Self-motivated and driven
- Must be a team player with a good collaboration background
- Ability to identify and solve problems quickly
- Meticulous and task-oriented
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment and adapt to change
