Coordinates the Materials Value Stream from supplier to production floor using a Plan for Every Part (PFEP).Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform required inventory sizing tasks using a PFEP to procure and stock assigned components, materials, and supplies.

Lead and guide product handlers in day to day activities.

Optimizes inventory levels by managing raw materials

Coordinates REO sizing and standards by using the data from the PFEP with vendors and customers to ensure the quantity being sent is correct.

Develops Minimum/Maximum REO Quantities (MOQ) with customers feedback.

Provide direction to Product Handlers to ensure material is flowing through the facility in a timely manner based on the PFEP.

Partner with Demand Planners, MFG Planners, and PMs to communicate changes in buying/usage patterns and adjust the PFEP to allow for material flow through the plant.

Maintain required PFEP records and manage the change process of the document.

Run and monitor cycle counts.

Ensure inventory and transactional accuracy and lead root cause and countermeasure analysis of cycle count adjustments.

Correct errors in the ERP system ensuring material accuracy.

Additions of inventory as needed for immediate consumption

Reversal requests.

Generate and distribute expiry report.

Process waste/scrap forms.

Other duties or functions as assigned.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

Strong analytical skills.

General experience in the Materials Functions.

Proficient communication skills, both written and oral.

Self-motivated with minimum direct supervision requirements.

Strong spreadsheet skills, MS Excel or equivalent and local MRP system.

Understanding and Practical Experience using Practical Process Improvement (PPI).

Must be able to lift 35 lb and walk/stand for extended period when necessary.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience required. Ability to train suppliers, customers and product handlers in the use of the PFEP and related functions of material movement.
