Employees who choose virtual / remote work should have an adequate space to serve as their home office. #LI-REMOTEResponsibilitiesThe Business Administration team has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Manager to oversee our custom solutions area. This is an opportunity to lead and support full stack software delivery teams and managers, while leveraging technologies such as React, AWS cloud and Java API’s.This area consists of 3 teams-comprised of engineers, technical leaders, project managers and people managers- that support custom applications built on Java, Linux, Oracle/PostgreSQL and Windows/SQL Server platform. We are aligned to the Accounting, Corporate Financials and Administrative lines of business, and also interact with commercial software vendors including PeopleSoft and Coupa. The team is currently focused on migrating solutions to AWS/Azure cloud environment.Your primary responsibilities will include collaborating with other IT teams and business stakeholders to understand project requirements, staffing needs, working with your teams to deliver software, managing vendor relationships, presenting project status to key stakeholders, contributing to project and release planning, and ensuring that software is properly supported in production. This position is also responsible for managing individual contributors and managers including career planning/support, training, interviewing, hiring, rewarding, disciplining, and conducting performance and salary reviews.Equal Opportunity Employer/Disability/VeteransQualificationsRequired:Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future

The Senior Manager position requires 8+ years of related experience

3+ or more years of proven success leading high performance development teams within a large enterprise IT organization

Experience working with and managing third party vendor partners to complete projects

Proficient knowledge of project management concepts, from planning and inception, through implementation and support

Excellent analytical skills as proven through past success creating, implementing, and executing transformational strategy

Proven leadership, results orientation, and self-motivation traits

Excellent relationship building skills

Superb communication skills – both written and verbal designed to engage an audience across a broad range of technical expertise and/or business acumen

High degree of collaboration skills; works well with others as it relates to generating ideas

Strong skills and experience mentoring and developing technology professionals and leaders, to ensure the team’s success and enable the employees to achieve their career goals

Must be committed to incorporating security into all decisions and daily job responsibilities

Preferred:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field preferred

Experience with the following:

Accounting/Financial software (custom/commercial)

Knowledge of API and service-oriented architecture (SOA)

Experience in a React and Java development environment

Experience working in cloud environment like AWS

Experience overseeing a work queue such as Jira, ServiceNow, etc. 

Experience working in a SCRUM/Agile environment

Maintains and cultivates an active professional network for the purposes of pipelining future hires; stays current in local/regional IT market to understand competition and talent sources
