About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Analytics Consultant for the Financial Crimes Analytics, Monitoring, and Surveillance (FCAMS) team within Financial Crimes Risk Management. You will be joining an exciting team focusing on Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Counter-Terrorism Financing (CTF) analytics that lead to the successful delivery of Risk Management solutions to Wells Fargo & Company (WFC).WF Is seeking candidate to fit these roles:This position is on the FCAMS Risk Analytics Services (RAS) team that provides financial crimes analytics and reporting across the enterprise. This includes management reporting for FCRM, operational support for the investigations teams, research for the alerting teams, and reporting for the front line businesses to assist in their risk management programs. This is an excellent opportunity to work with many different tools and software packages to address the rapidly changing financial crimes threat environment. As part of Financial Crime Risk Management, the team interacts with all aspects of the financial institutions transactional data.

Data Integrity Team addresses data inquires and identifies potential data issues. Defines issues clearly and concisely to determine root cause and associated risk. Documents and tracks data inquires/issues in JIRA from conception to completion/resolution. In addition the team owns the NEWTON enterprise wire application, provides support on all project work to ensure data quality and accuracy that aligns with business requirements and functional design.

In this role, you will:

Perform default, loss, and prepayment forecasting on credit sensitive positions within the Analytics Portfolio

Participate in company stress testing and capital planning efforts surrounding the securities portfolio and Treasury mortgage portfolio

Advise line of business, companywide functions, and more experienced leadership on business strategies based on research of performance metrics, trends in population distributions, predictive scenario modeling, and other complex data to maximize profits and asset growth, and minimize operating losses within risk and other operating standards

Interpret and translate regulatory defined stress test scenarios into model parameters, evaluate results of stress test results, and interpretation of model output

Provide leadership in the identification and development of new research concepts and designs

Ensure adherence to compliance and legal regulations and policies on all projects managed

Provide updates on project logs, monthly budget forecasts, monthly newsletters, and operations reviews

Assist managers and leaders in building quarterly and annual plans and forecast future market research needs for business partners supported

Mentor or manage less experienced staff, interns, and external contractors

Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and more experienced managers to resolve issues and achieve goals

Lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor

Required Qualifications, US:5+ years of Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:Excellent Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) skills

1+ years of Teradata SQL programming experience

Experience with corporate wide systems such as Hogan, OIB, SVP or Mobius Archive.

Knowledge and understanding of wire transfer processes

Open to learning new skills such as SAS program coding

4+ years of experience with BSA/AML/OFAC laws and regulations

Contribute to the development of systems and procedures that are both cost effective and meet the relevant business requirements

Evaluate moderately complex business, operational, or technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of planning and direction conducted to resolve complex business problems

Partner with business and technology teams to evaluate moderately complex business problems and lead a team to provide comprehensive technological solutions

Ability to thrive in a changing environment and stay focused on meeting business objectives

Demonstrated ability to prioritize and deliver quality products under tight timelines

Ability to manage projects simultaneously

Strong analytical, reporting and leadership skills

Must be able to collaborate successfully with multiple partners at all levels of the organization

1+ years of SAS programming experience

1+ years of developing Tableau dashboards
