Requisition Number: 79987 By joining Insight Enterprises as a Network Engineer, you will enter a tech-savvy and high-energy world. We are providing the hardware, software and support services for the most critical IT projects of a large healthcare customer of ours in St. Louis. We are seeking a capable Network Engineer to join the team on this project.

Please note, this is a 3+ month contract position working in and around the greater St. Louis area. There are roughly 50 sites in the area that are just part of this upgrade.

What you will be doing:

Upgrading networks at hospitals and remote offices (50 sites)
Join a team consisting of a PM & employee SME's currently being established
Day to day tech will be focused on creating low-level designs, documentation, and route switch engineering
Our customer's goal on these projects is to improve the end user experience with better connectivity
Split time between St. Louis interfacing with the customer and at remote sites around St. Louis and across Missouri doing site surveys

What you need to join:

5-10 years of experience is required
Heavy hands on resource comfortable doing low level design and implementation
Strong Cisco Catalyst & Nexus experience
Strong grasp of network routing & switching at large enterprise customers
Experience refreshing network equipment at healthcare facilities and corporate offices
Candidate is able to take high level design from architects, perform site surveys. and create low level designs
Cisco switching and routing is a must

Preferred Qualifications:

Any relevant certifications (CCNP, CCNA, CCDA, CCIE, etc), particularly with route/switch
Large enterprise environment experience preferred
Excellent verbal and written skills
Comfortable in high pressure situation and knows how to respond appropriately in any situation
Extremely professional, very customer service & customer experience focused
Candidate is able to clearly articulate task completed, risks, issues, blockers at the right level (customer vs. architect) in timely fashion
Any wireless experience will be considered a strong plus
