React JS Developer

We are looking for

• The client is looking for a full-stack web developer front end and back end.
• Advanced in doing React JS development using VS Code, Node.js who has used Material UI for UI development a lot.
• This person will be expected to learn about the existing Components that are already created for an application and become familiar with them enough to maintain them going forward.
• This person would also be responsible for creating new Components with new Material UI widgets based on wireframes delivered to them by the business analysts.
• Has independently created Java APIs using Spring boot application development.
• This person will be expected to modify existing Java APIs as needed and create new Java APIs.
• Has very good Oracle SQL knowledge building Java APIs making database connections to Oracle and building Insert, Select, Update, Delete statements and is comfortable with SQL joins.
• Has used SQL Server before and can write SQL to pull data from SQL Server databases.
• Has good knowledge and development experience with Python and some Artificial Intelligence libraries in Python
• The client has an existing Python script that may need to be modified periodically.
• Deploys code using Docker containers.
• The client has 3 Docker containers (React, Java, Python).
• This person would maintain the existing and modify as needed.
• Has created a React application from the beginning to the end for another company.
• The developer needed for this role should be someone who can do all of the development from beginning to end (read wireframes from business analysts, builds or modifies the React forms using Material UI, creates the Java APIs to pull or insert data into Oracle tables, deploys code, supports Operation related tasks).
• Must have knowledge in Security Certificates and how to implement them.
• Must support all Operations for existing applications including deploying new builds, restarting servers, adding users, changing user roles.
• Must have worked in a development environment with Dev, Test and Prod servers.
• Must know how to install, configure VS Code, Node.js, Spring boot, Docker, SQL Server Studio, Oracle client, Python.
• Experience with Sharepoint APIs is a plus.
• We currently use HP Octane for tracking enhancement requests.
• Experience with using Octane is a plus.
• Must be willing to support an existing application that was recently built and add enhancements to that existing application.
• Must be willing to learn the existing application.
• Must work with Sr. Architect on the team daily who provides technical oversight, design review/approval, and mentoring.
• Must be willing to work with other developers/React developers on the project team as well.
• Must work with the project team in an Agile environment (daily stand-up meetings, refinement and planning sessions) delivering new functionality in 2 weeks Sprints.
• Must be very organized and pays attention to detail.
• Must be a team player with a good attitude towards communication and willingness to deliver a high-quality product.
• This person must have very good documentation skills and would be expected to write a design document for each Sprint which is reviewed and approved by the Sr. Architect.
• Must be willing to investigate something they do not know using various resources (i.e. internet, books).
• This is a very high-speed environment.
• The client is not looking for someone who has just recently learned React and only has limited React and Java API experience.
• This person must be highly motivated to join a team that has been delivering a product and they would have an interest in learning the existing application and its intentions and how they can fit in to continue building out new functionalities for this existing application.
