The Consumer Lending Technology (CLT) group executes one of the leading financial services' Technology strategy and offers a strategic technology perspective to the lines of business (LOBs) we support. These LOBs include Auto; Card, Retail & Merchant Services; Home Lending; and Personal Loans within Consumer Lending. Our teams provide technology solutions to the LOBs and manage the application portfolios through the enablers of skills, stability, security, scalability, speed, and satisfaction.

This position will support the Loan Transfer Operations line of business within Wells Fargo Home Lending Technology. We are looking for a full-stack .NET developer to build and maintain websites, batch processes, ETL functions, data modeling and data reporting. As part of this role, the successful candidate will need to support legacy applications and functional components, refactor legacy applications to modern solutions, and create new functionality/applications to migrate manual business processes into technology solutions and capabilities that delight the end users. The successful candidate will also need to remediate applications to meet regulatory/compliance standards.

Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Analyzing complex business requirements designs and writing technical specifications to design or redesign complex computer platforms and applications.
  • Providing coding direction to less experienced staff or develop highly complex original code.
  • Acting as an expert technical resource for modeling, simulation and analysis efforts.
  • Verifying program logic by overseeing the preparation of test data, testing and debugging of programs.
  • Overseeing overall systems testing and the migration of platforms and applications to production.
  • Developing new documentation, departmental technical procedures and user guides.
  • Assuring quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported area, as well as, overseeing creation of or updates to and testing of the business continuation plan.

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of software engineering experience
  • 4+ years of C# experience

  • Experience with MS Azure cloud computing technology

  • Knowledge and understanding of technical design: detail design documents
  • Knowledge and understanding of modeling and research in the mortgage industry
  • Autosys experience

  • Effective communication to other technical partners and business partners
  • Knowledge of and experience with the Mortgage Servicing Line of Business.
  • Knowledge to adapt to advanced designed frameworks and the ability to integrate new applications into framework.
  • Experience with Pivotal Cloud Foundry(PCF) Platform
  • Experience with Java and Java scripting
  • Experience with the migration of Legacy websites to .NET Core MVC
  • Experience with SSIS / SSRS integration and reporting packages
  • Working knowledge of XML and Web Service
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft MSVC platform
