OverviewAs an Senior Software Engineer - API, AWS, you will be involved in the development of API Marketplace. You will work with technical leadership to design, develop and modify many different elements of technology. You will collaborate with other engineers and architects to provide design recommendations for implementing new solutions and business capabilities, ensuring security standards are met. You will be responsible for ensuring your tasks are completed and deadlines are met. You will also be required to meet key performance metrics to ensure compliance of established standards, processes, and procedures.The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator, self-driven and possess the ability to operate independently. Additionally, this role will require experience in front end, client-side and server-side development in cloud environment.Key Responsibilities Include:Implement software engineering solutions to meet requirements and architectural directionCode and successfully perform unit and integration testing of software to ensure proper and efficient execution, as well as compliance to the business and technical requirementsResolve problems that arise with future production applications in a timely manner to ensure the efficient and proper functioning of application componentsParticipate in acceptance testing to ensure client/user needs are metMigrate applications to quality assurance and/or the production environment, or perform quality assurance as necessaryWork with Managers and team members to meet development standardsParticipate in design conversations, asking questions and providing inputWork with others to implement foundational steps to build out new API strategyEqual Opportunity Employer/Disability/VeteransQualificationsRequired:Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the futureMust be committed to incorporating security into all decisions and daily job responsibilities3+ years experience with Java Script and related frameworks2+ years experience in AWS environment1+ year with any leading Content Management SystemExperience with Maven, Git/BitBucket, Jenkins, Webpack, NPMStrong communication skills including the ability to effectively communicate with people of varying technical knowledgeStrong troubleshooting skills. Able to resolve issues and support configuration issues for developers independentlyMust be able to work in a fast-paced production environment and have the ability to handle multiple tasksExperience with Agile development methodologies and tools such as Scrum, JIRA, and ConfluenceMust have experience in full lifecycle development and end-to-end testingMust have the ability to effectively collaborate and work with others in a remote work environmentMust demonstrate the ability to be flexible with changing priorities and requirementsPreferred:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field preferredAdobe Experience Manager experienceExperience in building customer componentsGood experience with editable templates, sling models, content fragmentsShould have knowledge of html, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, JSON, and XML, and experience creating Touch UI ComponentsWorking knowledge of OSGI Framework and CRXJCR repositoryUnderstanding of how to develop reusable codeKnowledge of performance tuning and writing scalable applicationsGeneral knowledge of networking / load balancer / high availability conceptsExperience with IntelliJ/VS Code/EclipseKnowledge of the general digital landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologiesTask management abilities: Able to identify necessary steps to a solution and move an initiative to the goalsProfessional communication abilities: Able to formalize proposals, communicate the need and instruct others on the use of solutionsExperience with Microsoft Office desktop application (Word, Excel, etc.) and VisioFamiliarity with Web Accessibility/WCAG standards and best practices
