- Responsible for maintaining and improving the performance of existing software code, with duties to design and update software databases under contract and direction from the assigned Government Product Owner.
- Astute ability in performing test-driven development, in an agile software development environment, where built in automated test procedures and continuous integration of software and continuous delivery of software to the Government is the culture. This competency is required to further test and maintain software products to ensure strong functionality and optimization.
- Recommends improvements to existing software applications as necessary.
- Individual shall be capable of performing the software tasks identified in the contract requirements in forming and working on the IPT.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related technical degree.
- At least 3 years' experience in full stack development to include key languages Python 3 (including Flask), React JavaScript, and Postgres Structured Query Language (SQL), with at least some experience in the last 4 years.
- At least 3 years' experience with shell script, Web services, and Database development, with at least some experience in the last 4 years.
- At least 3 years' experience with agile philosophies.
- At least 1 years' experience with paired programming on an Agile team. (nice to have)
- Senior knowledge and hands-on experience in developing, implementing and leading software development.
- Experience with Continuous Delivery and Continuous Integration (CI/CD) techniques, test-driven development, and automated testing practices.
- Experience managing big data in a cloud environment.
- Salary Range: $90,000 - $110,000 based on experience.
