- As Technical Product Owner you will be a master at bridging the desires of the customer and the capabilities of the technology, removing barriers to software development.
- Responsible for grooming the product backlog and having insight into technical requirements of individual stories thus creating a more efficient user experience.
- Able to translate the technical requirements into user stories.
- Serve as the conduit between user needs, technical capabilities, and engineering requirements, developing these into roadmaps and requirements for the Agile backlog of a development team.
- Lead the backlog refinement of features and user stories and ensure delivery teams are prepared to meet sprint deadlines.
- Work with others on a day-to-day basis to help make decisions on what is in scope and provide input into functional decisions.
- Daily interaction with the teams building the products including teams in the US and India.
- Coordinate with business customers and their project managers to ensure successful delivery.
- Work with Architect(s) and Tech Lead(s), Site Reliability Engineer(s) (SREs) to identify non-functional requirements such as infrastructure needs.
- You will work with Quality Assurance team member(s) to identify test cases for automated testing.
- BS or MS degree in Computer Science or Business or equivalent job experience required.
- 10 plus years of IT experience and 2 plus years as Product Owner.
- 5+ years in experience managing product backlogs and requirements for Agile delivery teams in a Product Owner capacity.
- Strong experience as a technical product owner within an agile environment.
- You are skilled at removing roadblocks and can successfully evaluate workload to drive efficiency.
- Solid understanding of product requirements and business analysis.
- Strong experience of systems development life cycle, specifically solution design, analysis, architecture and design.
- Understanding of Cloud technologies.
- Stakeholder management to lead on and ensure delivery.
- Hands-on experience of managing multiple small/medium sized projects.
- Flexibility to manage time zone differences with international teams.
- Prior experience working in Onsite-Offshore (US-India) model.
