- Lead and collaborate with a cross-functional team for adequate detailing for test efforts estimation and create execution plans and connectivity testing.
- Manages the all defects test for the QA Team and will be responsible for setting up the whole QA team for Offshore/ Onshore.
- Provide strategic planning for software QA, testing, and testing automation.
- Manage evaluation and approval of quality system documentation.
- Provide technical expertise and creativity related to defining a testing course of action.
- Estimate level of effort for software testing as needed for project planning.
- Drive Requirements driven testing (100% Traceability Requirements, Development, Test, Defect).
- Closely working with the development team for coordinating with forthcoming development deliverables for Testing.
- Responsible for developing the test plan, reviewing test cases, and ensuring the test coverage.
- Managing team of Test Engineers.
- Generating the testing/quality report for the periodic management review Document, implement, monitor, and enforce all processes for testing as per standards defined by the organization.
- Responsible for carrying out Functional, Integration & Nonfunctional Testing.
- Able to coordinate in onshore-offshore set-up (this is important because there are multiple active shifts).
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent; professional testing/QA certification preferred
- Over all 10+ years of IT experience.
- 4-5 years of experience in working as a Software Test Lead/ Manager.
- Experience with managing test projects and releases out of ALM octane or HP ALM would be preferred.
- Proficient in all areas of software and data testing, including unit testing, integration testing, systems testing, and acceptance testing.
- Strong knowledge of current software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Telecom Domain experience is must have.
- Good exposure and working experience on Database & APIs testing.
