The Transformation Consultant will report to Ascension's Vice President of Transformation and will support the Transformation Manager. This role will have regular exposure to and engagement with senior level executives across the organization. In this role, you will have the ability to work remotely with understood accessibility to a major airport for required travel. What You Will Do: As a key member of the Transformation Office, the Transformation Consultant will play an important role in the implementation and execution of the Ascension Strategic Plan. This individual will be responsible for supporting the establishment of a performance monitoring and measurement process and implementation of an associated tool that will be used by Ascension leadership to ensure progress is being made to advance Ascension's Strategic Plan and priorities. The Transformation Consultant has the opportunity to make an immediate impact as a thought partner for leaders as they implement strategic priorities. From synthesizing data for leadership reports to elevating opportunities and risks, your analytical, critical thinking and leadership skills will be called upon from day one. You should be an organized, self-starter who has a knack for problem solving and is comfortable with ambiguity. Your experience with data analysis and reporting, strategy implementation and execution, and process management will be put to good use. Key Responsibilities- Support the implementation of a systematic strategic plan monitoring process, including the national implementation and adoption of a strategic measurement tool
- Facilitate strategy review and data-informed decision making by the President & CEO, Ascension Leadership Team, and other leadership bodies
- Develop and maintain executive dashboards for tracking Strategic Plan implementation and performance at various levels of the organization
- Partner with Ascension strategic initiative leaders to determine targets and milestones and monitor progress and performance against them
- Contribute to action meetings/discussions focused on making decisions, removing roadblocks, and ensuring commitment to progress
- Identify and escalate opportunities and barriers as they impact the strategic monitoring and measurement of the Ascension Strategic Plan
- Proactively problem-solve with initiative owners and deep-dive as needed where initiatives are off track
- Drive accountability through the implementation and execution of a rigorous process with a regular cadence to accelerate initiative progress
- Support leadership teams as they implement and refer to the strategic tracking tool as the source of truth for monitoring and measurement of the Ascension Strategic Plan
- Partner with System Strategy team to examine strategic initiatives that are not delivering expected results and proactively share learnings from successful strategies across the organization
- Partner with Ascension Finance and Ascension Data Science Institute to understand and assess retrospective performance against pro forma financial projections and KPIs
- High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Bachelor's degree required.
- Master's degree preferred.
- 5 years of experience required.
- 10 years of experience preferred.
- 3 - 5 years of experience in consulting, finance, or other similar experience where analytical and critical thinking skills are transferable
- Health care experience a plus
- A detail-oriented and highly-organized structured thinker who possess exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced, complex work environment
- Superior analytical skills with the ability to draw insights from complex datasets to inform decision making

- Executive presence, comfortable with delivering transparent, constructive feedback to leaders
- Demonstrated project management skills with an emphasis on integrating multiple outputs into a unified deliverable and executive narrative
- Ability to communicate effectively (written & verbal) in an organized and knowledgeable manner
- Must be deadline driven, organized, technically advanced and able to multitask
- Proficiency in G-Suite products (Sheets, Docs, Slides) or the Microsoft equivalent
- Ability to travel up to 20% to perform essential duties of the job
