A boutique estate planning law firm located in Central St. Louis County seeks an experienced and organized estate planning paralegal or legal assistant. This part-time position provides support to friendly and focused attorney. Ideal candidate will be a polished professional who embraces new technology.
Professional Skills Requirements:
Experience with Estate Planning, Elder Law, or general Trusts and Estates / Probate work, preferably at a law firm, but equivalent experience in banking, trust, accounting or financial advisory firms is acceptable.
Knowledge and experience with Deed preparation and recording; Probate filings; and Estate and Trust administration.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Experience with an electronic firm management system, such as Clio, Zola, MyCase or Time Matters, etc.
Personal Skills Requirements:
Excellent interpersonal skills dealing with clients, financial advisors and accountants.
Ability to work efficiently with strong attention to detail.
Professional appearance and demeanor. Firm dress code is business casual.
High ethical standard with a strong understanding of client and firm confidentiality.
We offer a comfortable and collaborate work environment. Flexible scheduling during normal work hours may be available. Compensation is hourly, based on experience.
