(WWT) currently has an opening for a Team Lead Project Manager in the Information Technology Project Management Office (IT PMO) in St. Louis, MO.

As a Team Lead in the IT PMO, you will be responsible for leading complex IT programs and projects across multiple Business, Infrastructure, Security, Supply Chain, Finance, and Application Development teams utilizing Agile or Waterfall methodologies as best fit. The IT PMO Team Lead Project Manager shall manage a team of Project Management resources in addition to supporting activities associated with the Program objectives from ideation through completion, including project timelines, budget, risk and issue mitigation, communications, and adoption.

The IT PMO Team Lead Project Manager must enjoy and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic culture while being adaptable in an ever-changing environment. The successful candidate must have extensive experience working within IT organizations, delivering to deadlines, and meeting and delivering on company objectives.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead a Team of Project Managers while also managing Projects or Programs adhering to the established WWT project methodologies, standards, tools, processes, policies, and procedures, including but not limited to SAFe, Agile, and traditional Waterfall.
  • Responsible for management of Team Members in tracking and reporting on the Program requirements, schedule, and budget in coordination with Product Owners and Teams performing the project tasks.
  • Lead Team Members in managing and communicating scope, change management, and risks of projects within the Program to all stakeholder groups, while managing customer expectations and adhering to timelines and milestones.
  • Ability to implement Program metrics and use those metrics to help the PMO and Project teams identify opportunities for improvement
  • Coordinate Program and project team communication across Release Train Engineers (RTEs), Business Relationship Managers (BRMs), Program Managers, and stakeholders,
  • Coordinate work across multiple Product Teams with competing priorities and dependencies.
  • Manage and meet regularly with Direct Reports, WWT Leadership Team, Steering Committees, Project Managers, and Workstream members to discuss project escalations, decisions, and risk and issue mitigation.
  • Perform Resource Management of Project Managers with PMO Leadership Team
  • Direct Report Team-level goal planning and tracking, leadership, guidance, and coaching
  • Program-level leadership, guidance, and coaching
Qualifications:
  • Ability to manage a team of people and multiple projects simultaneously
  • 7-10 years of IT People Management
  • 7-10 years of experience managing IT Projects and Programs
  • Strategic planning, and change management experience preferred
  • Effective verbal and written communication for both a technical and non-technical audience.
  • Excellent problem solving, and critical thinking skills
  • Experience with Agile Project Management Methodologies required
  • Smartsheet and SharePoint experience preferred
