Job Description
As an Interface Engineer, you will configure Cerner interfaces and code basic interfaces. You will install Cerner interfaces. You will also troubleshoot and resolve system interface issues. In this role, you will support interface testing during the life cycle of the project. You will perform data migration and conversion programs. You will test data migration and conversion programs. Working Environment Hybrid or Remote This position offers a Hybrid or Remote working environment. Meaning if you live within a metro area of a Cerner office, you will split working time between a Cerner office and remote. If you are not within a metro area of a Cerner office, you can live and work in your current geographical location and work primarily remote. #LI-Hybrid #RemoteQualifications Basic Qualifications:- At least 4 years of total combined related work experience and completed higher education, including:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or related field, or equivalent, relevant work experience
- Receipt of the appropriate government security clearance card applicable for your position
- Due to the client contract you will be assigned, this position requires you to be a U.S. citizen
- Must reside in or be willing to relocate to an already virtually approved location; preferred location Kansas City
- Willing to travel up to 40% as needed
- Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
- Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned
