Job Description

Perform daily system operations tasks to verify system integrity and availabilityPerform ongoing performance tuning, hardware/OS upgrades, and resource optimizationImplement monitoring for applications and servers, and respond to alarms in a timely manner, preventing client impact and performance degradation, Manage changes and project activities, and communicate with impacted stakeholders, Develop and deploy automation tools to optimize daily activities, Complete assigned incident management tasks, Deploy, setup, and maintain complex testing environments, Provide Tier III and other support per service request Working Environment REMOTE This position offers a Remote working environment. Meaning you can live and work in your current geographical location and work primarily remote. There could be times you will be requested to travel and/or visit a Cerner office or client site. #Remote

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
  • At least 6 years total combined related work experience and completed higher education, including:
    • At least 1 year system administration and/or system engineering work experience
    • At least 5 years additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job and/or completed higher education, including:
      • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience

    • Willing to travel up to 40% as needed
    • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
    • Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
