Montana Council BSA is seeking a Camp Health Officer/ Medic at K-M Scout Ranch for the 2019 camp season. No previous scouting or camp experience required.
Position Description:
Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the Health Lodge and the area around it. Administer basic first aid for injured campers and staff and keep accurate records in the daily Medical Logs. Gather and secure camper and staff Health and Medical records. Conduct camper health check in process each week. Provide advice to on overall camp health to camp administration. This position is an on call position 24 hours each day.
Qualifications:
-At least 18 years old
-Valid EMT certification or higher
Compensation:
-Weekly salary based on experience
-On-site housing (Brand NEW Facility)
-All meals provided while on site
-Montana Council Scholarship Program Qualifier
About K-M Scout Ranch:
K-Ms resident summer camp is situated in central Montana in the heart of
the North Moccasin Mountains, with breathtaking views of Fergus County
and the surrounding wildlife. In addition to the extreme landscape, K-M
offers unique programming opportunities such as ATV, Shooting Sports, and Ropes Courses. Facility upgrades are on going with new shower/restroom/laundry facilities and staff housing being added within the last 4 years and a new Lodge/Dining Hall/ Medical Center opening Summer 2019.
