JOB TITLE: SHUTTLE DRIVER

LOCATION: BELGRADE & BIG SKY, MT

REPORTS TO: TRANSPORTATION MANAGER

Primary

The Shuttle Driver position will be responsible for providing reliable transportation in a timely manner to our guests while maintaining a professional, courteous demeanor. The position is responsible for operating a shuttle/vehicle and transporting guests safely and efficiently over specified routes to and from their destinations.

Job Responsibilities

Provide Amazing customer service to guests using the Shuttle services.

Greet guests in a friendly, welcoming manner.

Operate vehicle/shuttle safely over an assigned route, picking up and delivering only authorized guests/owners.

Obey traffic laws and transportation practices as required by federal, state, and local law.

Secure wheelchairs, car seats, and other restraining devices as needed.

Transport guests to and from their destinations safely.

Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Communicate with office staff and management on any guest requests.

Exemplify excellent customer service skills.

Maintain an accurate, detailed shuttle log.

Inspect vehicle/shuttle for proper operating condition before and after every shift according to checklist.

Report all accidents, incidents, injuries, unsafe working conditions, and damages to the vehicles/shuttles immediately to management.

Regulate heating, cooling, and ventilating equipment for the comfort of passengers.

Attain expert knowledge of Big Sky and provide guests with any requested information.

To be a brand ambassador, promoting all Natural Retreats locations and services to guests and colleagues alike.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk, and hear. The employee is constantly required to use hands and fingers to feel, handle or operate objects, controls, etc.; and reach with hands and arms. The employee must be physically able to perform and demonstrate emergency evacuation procedures. The employee may have to reach above shoulder height or below the waist or lift as required to assist guests and owners with getting their personal items out of the vehicle throughout the day. Proper lifting techniques are required. The individual must be able to lift and/or move items over 50 lbs. Lifting/moving items include but are not limited to bags, luggage, boxes, etc. This individual is exposed to the outdoors with frequent exposure to hot or cold temperatures and extreme outside weather conditions, such as snow, wind, and icy conditions.

Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, night/dusk vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

Experience

Previous experience in a similar role is preferable

Possess a clean driving record

Valid and current state drivers license
