Construction Estimator
We are looking for a hardworking Construction Estimator to join our team!
As a Construction Estimator, your responsibility will be to estimate the work of specific projects, gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents. Prepare cost estimates for product manufacturing, construction projects, or services to aid management in bidding on or determining the price of product or service.
May specialize according to particular service performed or type of product manufactured.
Construction Estimator duties and responsibilities
· Explore documentation to gain a deep understanding of the project requirements
· Select, measure, and track important metrics
· Visit sites, warehouses, and other venues necessary to do the estimate
· Build and maintain long-term relationships with the key vendors
· Previous working experience as construction estimator a bonus
· In-depth knowledge of project management
· Hands-on experience in the construction field
· Familiarity with computer programs such as Plans Exchange and ProCore
· Good time-management skills
· Ability to multi-task
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills
· Critical-thinker and problem-solver
BENEFITS to include company-sponsored Health, Dental, Vision after 60 days at beginning of next month after hire, 6 paid holidays start day of hire, up to 120 hours PTO (personal time off) per year, 401K, and profit-sharing. Wage DOE (depending on experience) plus possible commission.
