As an Accounts Payable team member, you will be responsible for communicating with and supporting our retail locations by performing accounting and clerical tasksrelated to the efficient processing and maintenance of the Accounts Payable transactions. In order to thrive in this position,you will need to be able to consistently and optimistically tackle a heavy work load in a fast-paced environment. A knowledge of accounts payable duties, general office duties, computer software and excellent communication skills will also be needed in this role. Qualifications
- Knowledge of general office duties - telephones, office machines, filing, etc.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills in order to maintain accurate records and meet deadlines
- Familiarity with computers and software programs such as Microsoft Word and Excel, as well as, 10-Key calculators
- High attention to detail
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to evaluate and solve problems
- Ability to consistently follow processes and procedures
- Strong mathematical competency
- Good communication skills; ability to communicate with vendors, customers, employees and other individuals as needed
- Physical ability to sit for extended periods of time (over 2 hours), infrequently required to climb, stoop, bend, reach, sit or stand while handling light objects, occasionally up to 25 pounds
