Job Description

As our Developer you will be responsible for assisting departments throughout the company by implementing applications or software tools that can be used to quickly and accurately analyze company data, store information in a way that is readily accessible, and reduce the number of times information needs to be handled before it reaches its destination. This includes setting up, adapting and improving solutions, debugging and problem solving to ensure production sites remain fully efficient and delivering high quality digitization. Also working with end users to create dashboards and reporting work flow to assist in daily, weekly, monthly and yearly data analytics. Responsibilities:- Work collaboratively with fellow IT staff to create and execute data integration, work flow processes and reporting options
- Evaluate alternate, innovative solutions to business problems including the use of commercially available software
- Work with the users to resolve any issues relating to the software application (custom or 3rd party)
- Works closely with team members to resolve issues related to in-house applications and provide support for the company’s mission critical systems.
- Collaborate with team members to identify and implement solutions that add efficiencies to the team’s current processes.
- Provide data reporting processes that support real time data analytics.
- Support system administrators on resource management on all application based servers or cloud provisions.
- Manage and monitor files moves and storages capacities
- Document follow-up and implemented solutions
- Analyze and report issues and solutions in application of a continuous improvement process
- Engage in continuing education to stay current with the latest technologies and industry standards
- Maintain and assure confidentiality of data
- Maintain and assure compliance with all IT policies and procedures
- Proven experience as application developer
- Experience in designing and building applications
- In-depth knowledge of programming for diverse operating systems and platforms using development tools
- Excellent understanding of software design and programming principles
- Proven software development experience in PHP (Magento)
- Demonstrable knowledge of web technologies including HTML, CSS, Javascript, Node.JS, Python
- Experience in common third-party APIs (Google, Facebook)
- MySQL, MSSQL, NoSQL - SQL query language and database structure/design
- Experience in BI components (SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, SSMS)
- Server Admin for Linux, Apache, Nginx, MySQL
- Experience with Waterfall & Agile development methodologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree preferred
- 1+ years of development experience
- Object-oriented design experience
- Able to collaborate by using an Agile methodology
- Multitasking and good organizational skills
- Results oriented
