We are looking for a person who has strong commercial floor care experience as well as others without this specialty experience to work at Malmstrom Air Force Base in Great Falls, MT. Our MAFB Custodial crews service 55 facilities year round. The supervisor with floor care experience would work primarily evening shifts, Sunday through Thursday.

In the role as a working Supervisor responsible for specialty floor care, you will direct and primarily perform the daily floor care operations services. Additionally, when necessary, this position assists with general restroom cleaning and sanitation of facilities. You will ensure continuous improvement of performance standards. You will conduct quality inspections to ensure work meets contract standards and provide feedback to team members to improve performance.

Education/Experience:

You must have empathy and respect for individuals with disabilities.

We prefer candidates with a high school diploma or GED.

Hard floor care experience including scrubbing, stripping, buffing, and finishing

Commercial carpet extraction/cleaning

Must be proficient in use with multiple floor care machines

Commercial floor care experience is required for the supervisor in charge of this work. For other supervisory roles, we prefer commercial custodial experience, but will train the right candidate(s) in this area.

Other Requirements:

Must have a valid driver's license, be at least 18 years of age, and have a safe driving record determined by Skils'kin's vehicle insurance carrier.

Must be able to obtain a Federal Contractors Badge upon employment.

Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check.

Compensation & Benefits

This is an hourly paid position and pay is issued every two weeks. As required by the Service Contract Act, Skils'kin pays an additional fringe benefit amount of $4.18 per hour toward the employee's health and welfare benefits which includes options for medical, dental, life insurance, and 401K.

Service Contract Act employees benefit from 10 paid Federal Holidays off as well as earned vacation hours beginning after the first year of service.
