The Montana Liquor Store Owners Association is a diverse organization representing the interests of 92 State of Montana franchise liquor stores. Our organization is looking for a dynamic, hard-working, self-directed individual to help promote our organization and its interests.
The successful candidate will serve as the only paid staff member for the organization and will work closely with the Board of Directors to do the following:
Required Responsibilities
Manage communications with general membership including answering emails, updating facebook, making phone calls and creating and sending bi-monthly newsletters.
Manage membership renewal and recruitment efforts.
Organize Board meetings
Organize meetings with State Government and other organizations as needed.
Organize Annual Meeting of general membership
Organize fundraising
Desired Responsibilities:
Actively recruit new members.
Assist in lobbying and legislative monitoring for the organization.
Represent LSOAM at meetings of other industry groups.
Create and manage annual budget.
This position will allow for flexibility of both physical location and hours. The successful candidate must be able to effectively manage their time and work on their own. The position is part-time and salary is dependent upon qualifications.
