The Role
We are seeking a Tax Reviewer / Senior Preparer to provide year-round support to our growing tax practice. This role goes beyond seasonal return prep — you’ll have responsibility for both review and resolution work.
What You’ll Do
Review returns (1040, 1065, 1120-S, 1120, 1041, 990) prepared by staff.
Handle complex prep directly where needed.
Lead IRS/state resolution cases and client problem-solving.
Mentor staff preparers and support professional development.
Collaborate with firm leadership on workflow, planning, and client service.
Contribute to special projects during off-season (entity planning, tax research, advisory).
What We’re Looking For
Active PTIN required; EA or CPA strongly preferred.
4–7+ years of tax preparation, with review experience highly valued.
Drake Tax experience a plus.
Strong technical knowledge, organizational skills, and client-service orientation.
Ability to balance prep, review, and advisory.
Location: Pendroy preferred; Whitefish considered.
