Kenco Security and Technology is hiring for an Alarm Consultant inÂour Kalispell, Montana branch.
Position Summary:Â
The ideal candidate will have solid experience with outside sales, preferably security sales, alongside strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and capable of establishing strong customer relations.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Sell products within assigned territory; maintain assigned sales quota while following established guidelines.
Use sales techniques to pitch and follow up on security and fire products. These products include CCTV, Access Control, security alarms, fire sprinklers, fire suppression, and fire alarms.Â
Use sales techniques to pitch and follow up on Reoccurring Monthly Revenue (RMR).
Identify prospective customers utilizing creative lead generating techniques.
Present sales presentation and proposal to prospects, identifying positive features and advantages of our products and services over those of the competition.
Adhere to current Fire Protection Service Corporation policies, procedures, products, programs and services.
Follow up with prospective customers in a timely manner.
Prepare final contract for signature
Process work order and complete all paperwork in accordance with approved and standardized procedures.
Maintaining customer retention by affirming customer satisfaction after the milestones of 6 and 12 months of service.
Limiting customer attrition through solid listening skills, problem-solving & solution implementation.
Maintains a good working environment with all employees, vendors, and customers.Â
Performs other duties as assigned.Â
Education & Required Skills:
High School Diploma
Valid driver's license with clean driving record
Good customer service skills
Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Products
Must read and speak English
Flexible style, perseverance, action oriented.
Ability to establish strong relationships with external and internal customers.
Must possess strong time management skills
Aptitude for problem solving, ability to determine solutions for customers
2+ years experience life safety industry preferred
2+ years sales experience required
