Hunter & Company is a high-end interior architecture and design firm with a retail showroom in Whitefish, MT. Our client base is nationwide, with mainly projects in the western states. We offer services ranging from project management, space planning, budgeting, fixed finishes, and furniture selections and purchasing. We feature some of the country's best manufacturers of furniture, fabric, lighting, and accessories, in addition to custom pieces from local and national artisans.
We are looking for a part-time/full-time showroom sales associate to join our team for 24-40 hours a week. The ideal candidate will have high energy, thrive in a fast-paced environment, solid customer service skills, retail and merchandising experience, strong organizational skills, ability to multitask, manage deadlines, Microsoft Office, CRM software experience and be a team player.
Specific tasks include:
o managing showroom: purchasing and inventory, including consignments
o maintaining the overall look of the showroom
o working with walk-in customers and possibly design clients
o coordinating vendor meetings/presentations and updating product information
o knowledge of vendor products
o administration duties including answering the phones
o updating sample library and managing organization of sample library
o receiving freight, organizing and managing our warehouse space
o additional tasks as needed
