Job Description
Do you enjoy providing excellent customer service to senior residents? If so, The Springs at Missoula is offering the opportunity to do so.
The position and responsibilities you are assuming is the Porter for our community. The Maintenance Assistant supports the Plant Operations Manager to assure proper consistent maintenance of our community, including building interior and exterior, grounds, walkways, driveways, and parking lot.
- Assists Residents with packages, groceries and more as needed.
- Empties all trash/recycle daily.
- Delivers mail packages to residents and employees.
- Sets up for special functions as needed.
- Maintains common areas and according to schedule or as needed including but not limited to:
- Transportation: Drives community vehicles to and from required destinations, safely and according to schedule. Assists residents in and out of vehicles safely, as well as escort in and out of buildings.
- Promptly reports any concerns regarding safe and proper functioning of equipment or vehicles to supervisor.
- Performs routine maintenance tasks between scheduled transportation as directed by the Plant Operations Manager.
- Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess experience in general building maintenance skills, hard floor and carpet care skills, painting and drywall repairs, exterior maintenance duties along with minor plumbing and electrical knowledge. We will support and train you to our standards and in all aspects of the required job duties.
Additional Information
We are looking for an individual that will be able to work Saturday and Sundays and as needed. This is a part-time position of 16+ hours.
