Bagels On Broadway is looking for a new counter person for our bagel shop.
We are a locally owned and operated shop that takes pride in our hand formed artisanal bagels and made from scratch spreads. We are looking for someone to work front counter, barista, and light prep and who can take pride and joy from a job well done.
This is a daytime position that requires you:
1) Are able to stand on your feet for at least 6 hours a day
2) Knowledge or willingness to learn barista skills.
3) Enjoy serving the public/customer service.
4) Enjoy being part of a team.
5) Can wake up and hit the ground running for our early morning rush
6) Have a schedule that allows you to work some weekends/holidays - we are open 7 days a week with a rotating
schedule, but are only open during the day (6:30 am - 3:30 pm)
The perfect person for this position is one who can multitask in front of our customers in a very clean fashion, has an easy disposition to interact with and is proactive about their work (trying to see what needs to be done before being asked/checked on, and one that can identify future needs and get ready for them in advance).
