Indigo Real Estate Services has an opening for a Porter/Groundskeeper with opportunity to grow for Copper Run and Ashlyn Place Apartments in Missoula, MT. Schedule will be Sunday - Thursday 40 hours per week, with Friday and Saturday off. Starting rate is $12 per hour, with monthly bonuses and optional benefits packages such as healthcare & 401K matching. Paid time off & holidays after initial probationary period.
The porter completes general janitorial and grounds keeping tasks and may assist with painting, minor repairs, and preventative maintenance of the community. The position is an important part of the management team and is responsible to ensure our high standards of cleanliness, "curb appeal," and customer service.
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Maintaining a professional image and attitude in keeping with the objectives of the company and resident's welfare
Keeping the common areas, grounds, flowerbeds and landscaping, waste disposal container areas, hallways, garages and/or parking lots and alleys in a neat and orderly manner
Responding proactively to tasks regarding cleanliness and appearance of building interiors and exteriors
Regular vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, garbage removal, pressure washing, polishing, and other related tasks per the management's guidelines and schedules
Working with the manager and maintenance supervisor on scheduled monthly, quarterly, or annual cleaning or grounds keeping tasks
Adhering to safety policies and procedures
Performing other duties as may be assigned by management
Detail oriented and organized
Must be both self-motivated and a team player
Physical aspects of the job may require heavy lifting, bending, kneeling, stooping, climbing, balancing, and carrying various equipment.
