Custom Machining Industries:
CMI is seeking candidates who have experience maintaining and servicing a manufacturing facility. Candidates will be asked to maintain company-wide appearance through prompt cleaning of warehouse facility. Candidates will also be asked to manage scrap materials produced from manufacturing processes as well as helping to maintain machines, refilling coolant, ect… Candidates may also be asked to assist with shipping, packaging, and general labor duties. Candidates must be able to self manage and operate efficiently and in a timely manner.
Job Duties:
Manage the regular cleaning and upkeep of company of facilities.
Facilitate manufacturing processes, shipping/packaging, and general labor activities.
Safely handle and remove production scrap from various areas within the organization.
Machining center upkeep, refilling coolant, ect
Clean bathrooms, quality lab, offices, mop, sweep, ect
Operate forklift in order to safely empty scrap material as well safely transfer material to workstations.
Disinfect any and all surfaces employees come in contact with such as workstations, equipment, entryways, ect
Required Skills:
Strong communication skills.
Follow verbal instruction accurately.
Interest in working in a manufacturing setting.
Well organized and capable of multitasking numerous detail orientated tasks.
Familiar with the use of common hand tools.
Ability to mop, sweep, clean all areas of the shop including offices, quality lab, bathrooms.
Preferred Skills:
Forklift driving experience.
Custodial experience in a machine shop environment.
Ability to self manage.
Highly motivated work ethic and desire to learn.
