The Case Manager assists in maintaining security of the facility by issuing incident reports to residents for any rule infractions, informing supervisors of any unusual resident behavior, keeping areas locked that are unauthorized to residents, answering calls and documenting information received. On occasion, the Case Manager may assist in performing room and personal searches, resident location checks, head counts, and the taking of urine samples.

The Case Manager demonstrates professionalism by maintaining good personal hygiene; being consistent in following rules, regulations, and policies; being punctual in attendance and working shifts as scheduled; attending staff meetings, case conferences and training as required; being assertive with co-workers, supervisors, and community contacts; following directions given by his/her supervisor; maintaining confidentiality as defined by policy.
